About

Linda’s artistic talent comes from a great childhood with very talented and creative parents and grandparents:

“My parents and grandparents always encouraged me to follow my dreams and instilled in me the work ethics they learned during the Great Depression. My father was a wood artist and my mother is an oil painter. My grandmothers were both seamstresses and taught me to sew, embroidery, crochet, tat, cook and garden.”

Linda is an altered art, collage, book maker and fine artist:

“All I ever wanted to be was an art teacher and my dream has been fulfilled for over 50 years.”

Linda’s multi-media style of creating is unique:

“Sometimes I work spontaneously and sometimes I plan for months, sketching and making notes in my journals. When I begin the plan, all of a sudden the piece takes on a life of its own and becomes something completely different from the ‘plan’.
